The AI Factory provides 100+ underlying operators virtually covering all the most advanced algorithm models feasible with the existing technologies for AI domains such as optical character recognition (OCR), computer vision, NLP, and speech recognition. It also provides 10+ business operators for offering AI capabilities to facilitate various application scenarios such as document parsing and intelligent compliance. This production line can be flexibly assembled based on business needs like Lego blocks to significantly accelerate AI project implementation without compromising the delivery quality, strongly supporting cost-effective frontline business innovation.
App-oriented empowerment
KPMG AI Factory is established using the architecture that features low coupling and high cohesion. It allows users to choose and orchestrate functional models in line with business needs, thereby getting a minimum set of functions at a fair price to address business objectives. Support retraining
External applications can use the AI factory to host the AI operator prediction service. Financial institutions’ business activity compliance requirements should align with laws, regulations, and standards. After compliance data sources are identified and integrated, departments of banks need to relate their business activities to specific compliance requirements as daily work guidance. It leverages AI to extract provisions individually from each legal or regulatory document and enables compliance personnel to merge, split, and confirm the extracted provisions. It also offers a labelling system to facilitate compliance management based on banks’ actual business activities as well as compliance management requirements, combines machine learning and retraining to automatically map the provisions onto the labels, and allows manual confirmation of automatic labelling results and adjustment of the labelling system.

Enterprises often need to extract information from a large number of documents that contain text and images, such as various special notes, reports, and certificates. It can recognise tables in various scenarios (including tables in scanned PDF files, tables with or without borders, tables with missing borders, etc.). By leveraging OCR and border drawing functions, it is able to extract blocks of information in its original format, so as to facilitate editing of both body text and tables in documents. The solution can be enhanced by adding different parsing or extraction models, thereby meeting requirements for general efficiency improvement as well as scenario-specific information extraction.
